JudyNV had posted http://bicycle.wikidot.com as an example wiki on our Wiki Assignment, an informative and organized wiki that I hope to add more to. Luckily, my blog is also on the topic of bicycles.
Here is a link to as well as a small contribution to that wiki. The article is on how to travel with your bicycle. Information about how to pack it and ship it in an economical fashion are described.

When we took our bikes to Europe with us in 2007 we had to pack each in a box as shown on the wiki page you refer to, but when we flew home we were not required to have a box, only that we twist the handle bars to line up with the body. That morning we rode from the hotel to the train station. The train took us inside the airport terminal. We wheeled the bikes right up to the ticketing area, prepared them for the flight then handed them over to the baggage handlers. When we arrived back in Las Vegas our bikes were the first baggage off the plane and it only took a few minutes to get them ready to ride home.
